Friends Find Favor Before God

I am blown away by the heart of the Grace Point family in helping make the facility and grounds pleasing to God and family. Over 60 people have come to the aid of Grace Point Church in preparation for the Easter Service. They have donated time, money and resources to get the many projects completed.

John D. and bride showed up with the youth to spearhead the ball moss removal and tree trimming. They also resodded grass next to the exciting new playground. A couple Cappadonna boys pulled more ball moss and bagged it. Cappadonna Electric provided a large truck and crew to hall off garbage, trimmings and ball moss. Larry and Irene's children pulled and bagged more ball moss.

Mike D. loaned me his Bobcat to move gravel and tear down the old playground. He then convinced a dump truck buddy to haul off the gravel at no charge. Mike D. did an awesome job of pouring fresh concrete and gravel cleanup work. Mr. Fred volunteered to fill potholes with fresh asphalt. Enjoy the smooth ride this Sunday! No more cussing the bumps! Ha.

John H. and friend Frank have worked sunup to sundown stripping and waxing floors. It took six coats of stripper to just get the old wax off! Caesar loaned us an carpet extractor to freshen up the carpets and brought a scissor lift for working on the worship center wiring.

Cora volunteered to help plan and plant fresh flowers in the front of the church. Lariop plants were replanted along the front drive. Pray the deer don't treat the new flowers and lariop as a smorgasboard of flavor.

Virginia and friend have been landscaping the grounds around the Training Center. When you read this, there is still much more to do with the springtime growth happening! Drop on by or give me a call: 558-5910.

Mike D. brought his gasoline powered "Tim the Tool Man" high pressure sprayer and cleaned the sidewalks and then began washing all the trucks in the parking lot. What a guy! Thank you Veronica for loaning him out with all his big boy toys!

Gene brought his 4 wheeler up to entertain us. That was fun! Then, back to work.

I'm sure many others donated just as much in their areas of responsibility. The heart of Grace Point has really demonstrated their love for God and each other.

Thank you Grace Point for allowing me to serve you!
Archie

Don't forget, Archie "Bobcat" Rines has been there the whole time also. Thanks "Bobcat", I know you put in a lot more than your usual 50 hour week.

Bobcat! That's funny. Wonder how long that moniker will stick?
