Spring is in the Air
I bet you enjoyed the flowers at the front of the building on Easter. They are absolutely gorgeous. You can thank Cora for her selection and planting. She and the flowers are naturally beautiful.
If you'd like to pitch in and help, I'd love to have a hand with all the fresh springtime growth. Give me a call and we can chat about what is going on and how you can best be blessed with the opportunity to serve.
My church direct line is 558-5910. Thank you in advance for your heart and desire to serve.

Friends Find Favor Before God
I am blown away by the heart of the Grace Point family in helping make the facility and grounds pleasing to God and family. Over 60 people have come to the aid of Grace Point Church in preparation for the Easter Service. They have donated time, money and resources to get the many projects completed.
John D. and bride showed up with the youth to spearhead the ball moss removal and tree trimming. They also resodded grass next to the exciting new playground. A couple Cappadonna boys pulled more ball moss and bagged it. Cappadonna Electric provided a large truck and crew to hall off garbage, trimmings and ball moss. Larry and Irene's children pulled and bagged more ball moss.
Mike D. loaned me his Bobcat to move gravel and tear down the old playground. He then convinced a dump truck buddy to haul off the gravel at no charge. Mike D. did an awesome job of pouring fresh concrete and gravel cleanup work. Mr. Fred volunteered to fill potholes with fresh asphalt. Enjoy the smooth ride this Sunday! No more cussing the bumps! Ha.
John H. and friend Frank have worked sunup to sundown stripping and waxing floors. It took six coats of stripper to just get the old wax off! Caesar loaned us an carpet extractor to freshen up the carpets and brought a scissor lift for working on the worship center wiring.
Cora volunteered to help plan and plant fresh flowers in the front of the church. Lariop plants were replanted along the front drive. Pray the deer don't treat the new flowers and lariop as a smorgasboard of flavor.
Virginia and friend have been landscaping the grounds around the Training Center. When you read this, there is still much more to do with the springtime growth happening! Drop on by or give me a call: 558-5910.
Mike D. brought his gasoline powered "Tim the Tool Man" high pressure sprayer and cleaned the sidewalks and then began washing all the trucks in the parking lot. What a guy! Thank you Veronica for loaning him out with all his big boy toys!
Gene brought his 4 wheeler up to entertain us. That was fun! Then, back to work.
I'm sure many others donated just as much in their areas of responsibility. The heart of Grace Point has really demonstrated their love for God and each other.
Thank you Grace Point for allowing me to serve you!

Youth Ball Moss Party
Yippee! It's the first ever annual Ball Moss Party, spearheaded by the Grace Point youth. Set your calendar. It is Monday - March 17. The fun starts at 9:00 and ends at 3:00. Everyone is invited.
We will have ladders to skinny up the trees and you get to yank ball moss like you have never done before. Your friends will all want to know when it is their turn. For those that don't like ladders, there will be plenty to do closer to the ground.
This is your unique opportunity to serve God and your church. It is spelled FUN and pronounced Ball Moss! For additional information contact your local ball moss junkie.

Looking for Team Players
.
.
The Word tells us how important the sanctuary is to God. There are hundreds of verses written about the presence of God in the sanctuary. Grace Point and I need your help.
There are 966 chairs in the worship center. These chairs are arranged so 7 teams can easily manage the "tear down" or "set up" of these chairs. With 7 teams, it will only take 30 minutes per team to make God's sanctuary ready for worship. Your help will be greatly appreciated by the Grace Point body and a blessing from God.
Pastor Jeff spoke a few weeks back on the temporal versus permanent things of life. Helping to prepare the seating and creating a sanctuary for worship is a permanent investment. This is your opportunity to be part of a 'God Spot'. Keep in mind this is not a weekly blessing. This offering is only available for special events.
Grace Point will be hosting a few hundred pastors next week and this is your chance to make a difference. I need help Tuesday evening the 26th (after 5:00) to tear down chairs and Wednesday evening the 27th (after 5:00) to set chairs back up. With or without a commitment to join the chair draft, I need help on these two days.
Sign up for the chair draft with a posting to the comments of this blog or email me directly at arhines@gracepoint.org. Reserve your team slot now. You may forget later and miss this tremendous opportunity.
Thank you in advance for your encouragements and willingness to help. Be a part of 'The Blessing'!

God Spot Sighting!
By now, you may have figured out that I get excited when I spot God at work. I appropriately call them, 'God Spots'. The last three days has been full of God Spots.
Saturday, the 20's Somethings Life Group volunteered to work at the church and help bring the facilities and ground up to the standard of excellence appreciated by God and His people of Grace Point Church.
The church accounting office got a beautiful face lift on it walls with a wonderful faux paint decor. The Tribe room had a final wall painted and molding painted, also. It all looks great!
Outside trash was picked up along the fence line for the entire length of the property! Absolutely incredibly wonderful serving attitudes by the Group was displayed. Then, work was done on the new playground with equipment installed, leaks capped off and pipe replaced.
I was impressed with the quality of people God brought to serve Him sacrificially during their personal time off. Thank you guys and gals for your selfless attitudes. You have increased my faith in the people of Grace Point!

Loving Mondays
Hi friends at Grace Point! I ran across a great book on business and it's integration of Biblical principles and it is FREE! There is an eBook version at:
http://www.lovingmonday.com/
I hope you enjoy the read. John Beckett is a highly successful business man who runs with the big dogs. He has told an incredibly interesting story of his life and the integration of Biblical principles in business. The eBook is about a 3 hour read so you can find the time to enjoy. The chapters are short so you can work them into your day in short snippets.

Hi friends. I am in the middle of building two rooms in the Tribe room. Electricity is being run today and tomorrow. Sheetrock and paint will be next. Will you help? I will be at the church Saturday, Jan. 12 at 9:30 if you can break away for a couple hours.
If convenient, drop me an email: arhines@gracepoint.org or just show up. There will be plenty of opportunities for everyone.
You guys are the best!

Thanks Charlie for the extra set of hands. We got the sheet rock hung on the ceiling and next week it'll be time to 'button up' the walls.

Building a Room
Hi friends! I need a helping hand this week. I need to haul some sheetrock upstairs. Then if you have an interest, we'll be installing it. Need some muscle that won't take much time. Are you available? I'll be picking up the sheetrock Wednesday. It would be great having your help to get it upstairs Wednesday night. Thanks in advance! Archie
Thanks for the response Sergio!
